At KT Law you’re guaranteed a team of direct, no-nonsense women with decades of legal experience. Led by attorney Kay Teague and supported by paralegal Sandra Senger and legal assistant Alice Gilbert-McIntyre, we pride ourselves on providing accessible legal services tailored to each individual client’s needs.

Raised in a small, blue-collar town in rural Michigan, Kay was drawn early to the pursuit of justice and the importance of giving a voice to those who could not speak for themselves. She worked hard to put herself through Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Following her passion for education and the law, she moved west to complete her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated with honors in legal writing.
Now a well-established trial attorney with over a decade of experience and a growing collection of verdicts, Kay is known for her empathy, honesty, and commitment to her clients. She takes great care to be available to her clients and provide them with an unvarnished understanding of the legal system and their case.
Kay specializes in personal injury and on occasion handles small estate probate administration, including guardianships and conservatorships. She has represented individuals and families across the Pacific Northwest—fighting for the injured and vulnerable against powerful institutions like insurance companies, hospitals, doctors, trucking companies, and railroads.
Kay is licensed by both the Oregon and Washington State Bars and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for Oregon, and Eastern and Western Washington. She is an active member of the following organizations:
- Oregon State Bar – House of Delegates, Region 4
- Multnomah Bar Association
- Washington County Bar Association
- Oregon Women Lawyers
- Oregon Trial Lawyers Association
- Washington State Association for Justice
Kay lives in Beaverton, Oregon with her family and rotund Jack Russell Terrier. She enjoys hiking, mountains and storytelling in her spare time.
